If you see a Ferrari you'll have a good day.
Peter likes to point out fancy sport cars to me whenever we see one drive by. I try to keep up, but whenever I point out a fancy car and ask what it is, it's usually the sporty Honda. However, I did point out a Ferrari dealership in La Jolla, and one on our way to Camarillo. I got bonus points, there were a lot of Ferrari's out in the lot.
While we were furniture shopping, my mom was giving us ideas of places to go look at. She was trying to get a price range from us, so Peter said, "We want Toyota furniture. Not Ferrari, not Porsche, definitely not Kia or Suzuki." She somehow understood his logic.
For Christmas Peter got two pictures of Ferrari's framed. They are on the wall in our bedroom.
At one point Peter had told my mom and I that yellow Ferrari's were rare and therefore extra lucky. The day before our wedding my mom gave Peter a small gift. He got a yellow Hotwheels Ferrari. It sits on top of his night stand.

My poor car!
Two Sunday's ago I was visit teaching a lady at her apartment. When I was leaving to go home I had to squeeze into my car. There were two cars parked really close to mine. There was also a big pole a little ways behind me. So I backed straight out and started turning once I had cleared the two cars next to me. I was keeping an eye on the pole behind me when WHACK! I backed into a cement planter. It was so low that I couldn't see it out my back window. I was quite upset, my precious car was damaged. I drove home with a piece dragging behind me.
Today my brother figured out how to take the damaged piece off the car. It took him all of two minutes. We thought we were going to have to take the wheel off, but my brother had a nifty angled screwdriver and had it off really quick. Now I just have to order a new part and before you'll know it, my car will look like new again.
