Valentines/fun times

Well we had a rather laid back, did nothing special Valentines Day. I have been sick for the past week, with the weekend being the worst part of this cold. Peter was wonderful and ran out to get me medicine a couple of times. I believe I have my students to thank for sharing their germs with me (back at work a week and a half and they welcome me back with a nasty cold). I've had this week off of work, which I'm enjoying the extra sleep and the extra playtime with my little one. Connor on Sunday was extremely cranky. I think I shared my cold with him. Monday was tricky too. About the only thing I could think of to calm him down was a shower.

Connor loves taking a shower. He loves having the water spray him in the face. Loves getting all soapy, overall loves the entire experience...that is until you turn the water off.
Stepping out of the bathroom with the cool breeze on warm wet skin...the result is almost always this. Yes I know the robe is too big, but it's so cute I had to give it a try.

This picture is from last week. He was happy and smiling at daddy about 2 minutes before this picture was taken. I love the lips.
Peter came home with flowers and a card for me and then made dinner. I did my best not to breathe too many germs on him. I love you honey! After dinner, Connor and Peter had some bonding time.
Connor really likes watching TV. At times he is so mesmerized by what is on.
He also really enjoys sucking on just about anything. His pacifier, your clothes, and his fists are among the favorites.
Doctors say be sure to give him plenty of supervised tummy time. Well I keep putting him on his tummy and he keeps rolling over. In the time I put him on his belly and stepped back to get a picture, he had already done this.
Getting nails trimmed by daddy. Daddy is the only one brave enough to do this and has taught me that it must be done while Connor is focused on something else.

Our smiley boy

We took this video last night. His squeals are just too adorable. Make sure the volume is turned on while watching this. He's 13 weeks old.
