Beach Clean-up

Today we cleaned up trash at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.  The beach clean up was part of a service project that Connor's school/my work participated in.  Several families showed up and it was easy to keep track of the kids as they all had the same fluorescent yellow t-shirt on.

There wasn't much trash on the beach and Connor had to go to the bathroom, so the kids and Peter turned back early and then played on the playground.  I continued along the beach and picked up pieces of tar...pretty nasty.

Then we all had a little fun on the playground.

These dolphins were a big hit with the kids.

We had a great time today.
