We were hoping a butterfly would land on Connor's head, but they didn't. One briefly landed on Peter's hat, but that was about it. They were very pretty to look at. We were glad we made it there this year. (Last year I passed out while in line, so we missed the butterfly experience.)
I got a big grin right as we entered the butterfly exhibit and then he started dozing off.
Next we went to the Lorikeets-Connor was nearly asleep and wanted nothing to do with the birds. He didn't even look at them or care when there were three squawking in his ear.
Then we went on the tram and got to see this baby-Eric is 8 months old and over 500 pounds, he's in the back, his momma is the one eating.
After getting off the tram it was super hot out. We were all sweaty and it wasn't even noon yet, so we decided to head out. On our way out we stopped by the nursery and saw this cute little guy.
It was a great morning. We got home, ate lunch, turned the AC on and all took a nap. Connor update:
* He has found his feet and can put them in his mouth. He's also great at pulling his socks off.
* He still can aim and squirt his daddy during diaper changes.
* Loves to talk
* We've upgraded from squeals to genuine laughs, they're hard to come by, but downright adorable to hear.
* He's totally a ladies man, so this was quite appropriate:
