Mormon Battalion Commemoration

Last night Peter and I watched our nieces, we also had a slumber party which was quite fun. We went from 1 kid to 4 in a matter of minutes! Boy that's tricky, but we had a lot of fun. This picture was just too cute to pass up.
Today was the Mormon Battalion Commemoration at Old Town State Park. Peter and his dad left super early in the morning to head down. They participated in the Dutch Oven Cook-Off. They made six different German foods: Bread Knodel, Chicken schnitzel, sweetened red cabbage, mushroom gravy, apple strudel, and streuselkuchen. They won first and second place prizes and got the best in show award as well. Everyone else brought one dutch oven, Peter and David had 5 going simultaneously. I swiped these pictures off of Wendy Platt's Facebook.
While the guys were busy with their dutch ovens, I had the camera and us girls were busy doing the fun stuff seen here:
While Peter and his dad cooked all day, Mary and the girls and I explored the activities. We watched the parade, the girls made dolls, bricks, rope, cooked a bun, panned for gold and enjoyed running around. Camille's friend from school and her dad met up with us. It was a fun day. Connor slept for the majority of the time in the Ergo, he's such a good baby.

These aren't from today since I wore him all day and I had the camera it was impossible to take his picture, so here's a couple cute pictures from this past week.
