So here's our fish tank and stand. Isn't it pretty! The stand used to be a lot lighter, but with three coats of mahogany stain and a couple clear coats, voila we have one nice stand. The fish were being a bit camera shy. There are really about 40 fish in the tank. And the can of tuna on top, well that's another story :)

What's up with the can of tuna on top of the tank? You aren't feeding fish to your fish are you? ha ha!
We made a poll on Peter's family's website. It consisted of what should we put in our fish tank. One of the options was a can of tuna. His aunt voted for the tuna, so once we had it all set up we put a can on top and took a picture :)
And what lovely fish they are indeed!
I thought the tuna might be some kind of warning - behave, or else!
How beautiful!!!!!! I can't wait until we can get fish in our home. What is the story of the tuna?
never mind, I just read your response to the post ... call me slow!
Yea!! You finally got your fish tank. I love the colour of the stain. It's a beautiful finish!! We inherited Kira's two turtles. I of course was not asked - that's how most of our pets have ended up in our house!!
Hey Peter-
Nice fish tank! I can't believe I just stumbled into your blog! I found it through a link on Lindsey's latest post. I always wondered what had happened to you after you graduated and moved away...I can't even tell you how happy I am to find that you are doing so well and happily married! Congrats (even though I am WAY late)! I also got married last year, in case you were wondering. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi! :)
